We are constantly refining our many activities, attempting to streamline our days into more effective living. I've noticed now when i look back, I observe that many of my fears and worries were things I didn't have to give nearly as much energy to than I did. Would I change things if I went back in time? I think the better response is to live today so that I have less things to regret as I look back on them. THere's an apt meme that's going around right now: "Life is short. Make sure you spend as much time as possible arguing with strangers about politics on the internet." (Paraphrased) How about: Life is short. Make sure you spend as much time as possible doing things and sharing things that bring much happiness to yourself and others." Writing prompt: What are your best strategies for using ambition as a driving force? Is there a rhythm or cycle to your activities? Writing prompt: How does becoming more of an observer help you with your goals, desires, drives?
