We forget. Most of the time we forget how far reaching our smallest actions can travel and impact those around us. We often see it in the news arena, how one perfect pill (I mean a stupid human) makes life less joyful for thousands whom his words or actions, or inactions affect. In your life take tiny actions that will improve things for those around you when you can and where you can. Start where you are right now. At the end of the day look back and thank those who shared your path today. Celebrate this moment and then expand it. See what happens. Not meaning for this to sound preachy because I am absolutely not perfect but I do know that trying can make a huge difference. All we've got is now. HAPPY HALLOWEEN! We visited the corn maze this past weekend, our family tradition for about two decades or more.. Over the years we have seen favorite haunted houses and pumpkin farms come and go, but the corn maze lives on.. It is a collaborative effort as you walk down trails and work to find your way back out of the maze. The corn towered way over our heads this year, making us wonder if if was genetically bred for mazes.. We had a great time visiting, catching up and sharing our Halloween tradition. Preparation for November 5.. I think, (I feel) that I will be very happy with the outcome on this day. But, what if things turn out differently? I don't want to be blindsided or overwhelmed with grief and worry. I have what I call my "toolbox," some go to strategies that always help me to stay grounded. Some are meditation techniques, and then there are prayers. Through Linda G's youtube videos, she introduced her video watchers to Tom T. Moore and his MBO technique. MBO stands for 'Most Benevolent Outcome' and praying with this in mind can feel most reassuring, and takes the outcome pressure off of you. It's another way of saying 'for the higher good.'
