From A Mundane Task To A 'Holding Space'

I was pouring out a dish of cat food when suddenly the dish overturned and cat food spilled everywhere.  As I got the broom and dustpan, I wondered that when such things happen, I could reframe it.  I could think of this as a 'holding space,' that my Divine Self (or the powers that be) needs as a pause on my path so that things can then line up to reflect space for what happens next.
Put another way: this pause could be so that things can line up for my Divine Plan and/or the Divine Blueprint of my life..
And, what if the task of sweeping and dustpan brought me out of myself, just enough, to allow for the shifts that I need, for now, for this day, week, etc?
It can be reassuring and comforting to know that higher forces are at work in our lives. Even in a moment of spilled cat food.
