Today I can give from my heart: suspending judgement Today's Sunday cinema film is 'Sullivan's Travels' from 1941, written and directed by Preston Sturges. Starring Joel McCrea and Veronica, plus the usual Sturges supporting cast. Veronica Lake was heavily pregnant while filming, which costume designer Edith Head worked very hard to try and conceal.
