Secrets

I have a friend who watches Fox "News" - I can tell by the things she says. I have not checked in with her lately and I have never openly addressed her political view but I have always suspected how she felt. Another lifetime ago when I had twitter, she was on there too. I noticed she started following people who I consider -  what's the word I want to use to describe them? - 'repugnant' comes to mind. 
I consider her a dear friend because she and I always have had good times together. 
I always hope she will - what's the phrase I want to use? change her mind, change her heart, change her beliefs. As long as she keeps listening to repugnant "news" "sources" I don't think she will. And that is a very very sad thing. I know there are millions of us in the US who have loved ones who are in the same cult and it is very very sad for all of us.
