I found myself under the weather for a few days these week - another careful reminder to pay attention and treat my body with a little more awareness as to what is no longer acceptable. Yes, the Europeans might eat dinner at 8pm or 9pm but my born and bred American body does not like to eat much after 7pm, especially nothing heavy. Duly noted. Treading lightly these days until I have my full strength back. I did manage to enjoy a sunrise walk this morning, and I am so glad I did - one of our very favorite wildflowers is almost in full bloom - The Dutchman's Britches (or Ditchman's Breeches) and I talked to my grandmother as I enjoyed the little pairs of britches. I love the connection I share with my grandmother through the wildflowers. I hope I can share this connection with my grandson in the years to come.. Writing prompt: What will you do today that means a lot to you? Writing prompt: What will you do today that means a lot to a loved one? Today I am grateful for a gentle light rain. Today I can give from my heart: acceptance of my imperfection, tolerance for the imperfections of others. #Writingprompt #wordprompt #DutchmansBritches #DutchmansBreeches #Wildflowers #GrandmaJean #BlueScilla #SunriseWalk #WildflowerWalk #WoodlandWildflowers #Acceptance #Tolerance
