 From their website: Welcome to the Asia for Animals CoalitionThe Asia for Animals (AfA) Coalition is composed of 22 well-known and respected animal welfare organisations that have a shared focus on improving the welfare of animals in Asia. We are further supported by a network of hundreds of supporting animal welfare organisations. We appeal to both governments and specific facilities opposing animal cruelty as one voice and act as a filter point for animal welfare organisations across Asia. Our biennial conference is the largest gathering of animal welfare organisation in Asia to share information, strategies and knowledge with one another to improve the lives for the animals of Asia.
In signing my usual animal petitions I came upon a world of horrifying animal abuse. I did not suspect this was going on and it shocked me. Truly. I cried. Heartbreaking things going on in this old world of ours. Will we ever live up to be deserving of this planet? Love your animals as best you can. Take care of them, help others to understand that animals need love and food and a safe home. We need to try harder for them all. Love is needed all around. Follow worthy heroes and help them in their work: Jane Goodall. Save Korean Dogs.. many more working to make this world a better place. We need our heroes now more than ever.  A good day to honor baking, seasonal changes (we are halfway between summer and autumn today, can you believe it?!) and feeling that the Universe is at our backs, supporting us in our endeavors. xo  Grandma Lina's pound cake recipe.
