I recently dove into my deleted files in Dropbox. Could I really have deleted all these things? Should I double check to make sure I didn't accidentally delete something I need? How often do you double check your instincts? Maybe not in deleted screenshots, but in other areas of your life? Somewhere in those small habits that you mostly do by rote.
At first I was upset when I read "You are not in control. You can influence things and outcomes but you are not in control." In about three weeks time, I had evolved into "Thank God I'm not in control."
How do I know it was three weeks? I thought about this, journaled about it, examined things in my life and the world at large, I really thought about it for about three weeks, then when I heard the accompanying "Thank God I am not in control" I could really understand that. Because our small, one person, human view is so limited it is a blessing we are not in control - we lack the scope as a one person human being. (We may be multiple beings in multiple dimensions, but that too is well beyond our scope at present.)
So, focusing on what I can influence then, what about today, actions, steps, gestures, meanings.
My friend Palak's beautiful drone movie from 2014. His channel has lots of other beautiful short drone movies too. A good day to remember Palak, on what would have been his 39th birthday.
